AEGIX develops resilient wireless communication devices and infrastructure designed to keep people and organizations connected when traditional networks are unavailable, overloaded, or simply out of reach.
Built around LoRa and mesh-networking technology, AEGIX devices are designed for long-range, low-power communication without depending entirely on cellular service, internet access, or centralized infrastructure.
AEGIX hardware works together with the SKYNET platform to create a distributed communications ecosystem that can connect individual users, field nodes, relay stations, gateways, and network infrastructure across large areas.

AEGIX + SKYNET
AEGIX and SKYNET serve two different but connected roles.
AEGIX is the hardware.
Radios, portable nodes, fixed stations, field equipment, gateways, and other devices that interact with the network.
SKYNET is the platform.
The network infrastructure that connects those devices and provides messaging, monitoring, mapping, telemetry, gateway coordination, network intelligence, alerts, and management tools.
Together they create an expandable communications ecosystem.
Designed for Resilience
AEGIX is being developed around a distributed architecture rather than depending on one central communications point.
The ecosystem can incorporate portable nodes, fixed nodes, relay stations, primary gateways, backup gateways, and internet-connected infrastructure.
When internet connectivity is available, gateways can extend information across the wider SKYNET network. When connectivity is unavailable, local radio communications can continue operating independently.
This approach is designed to provide multiple communication paths instead of relying on a single point of failure.
